SUMMARY
The Co-Man Planner, New Products is responsible for supply chain planning functions supporting a specific portfolio of new products across multiple contract manufacturers. This role will also manage the transition of existing items to new manufacturing partners. The Planner will continue to manage supply chain planning functions until Traditional Medicinals is satisfied that the specified items have achieved steady state and can be moved into replenishment planning.
This role will manage the production schedule for finished goods, balancing inventory targets, customer service levels, and manufacturing capacity using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Kinaxis Maestro and Excel. This is a hands-on role that will also execute ERP transactions, approve invoices and reconcile batch and production summaries as needed.
This role will build and maintain relationships with business counter parts within the co-manufacturing network and will lead weekly discussions with assigned co-manufacturers. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role that will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure alignment of required activities and will help drive the flawless execution of new product launches, and product manufacturing transitions.

Compensation range is 79,200 - $103,950.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for supply planning management of a specific portfolio of new products across multiple contract manufacturers to execute launches to deliver on time in full
- Responsible for supply planning management of the transition of existing items to new contract manufacturers to execute transition on time and in full
- Manage the creation and timely execution of an achievable, efficient production schedule for a group of Contract Manufacturers (domestic and International) for the new product portfolio
- Partner with Co-Manufacturing to validate production orders to ensure they meet MOQ, lead times, and other requirements
- Assess, validate, and track Contract Manufacturer timelines and aid in keeping the team on schedule throughout the project execution life cycle
- Keep suppliers and contract manufacturers accountable for timelines and communicate delays to cross-functional partners promptly
- Execute all ERP and other planning-related transactions related to the new product portfolio in Microsoft D365 and/or Kinaxis Maestro. This includes purchase order, transfer order, and inventory transactions, as well as month-end reconciliation
- Work jointly with Supplier Quality team to quickly resolve quality issues that put production plans in jeopardy
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality team and Contract Manufacturing partners to ensure that all quality and batch release paperwork is executed timely and correctly
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams to ensure that all activities critical to new product launch are completed per the project timeline
- Partner with the Sr. Raw Material Planner and Procurement team to ensure timely PO placement, completion and delivery of all primary, secondary, and tertiary components needed to support launch timelines
- Partner with Director of Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Commercialization Manager and Supplier Quality team in collaborating with contract manufacturers
- Responsible for tracking all liabilities related to the project portfolio
- Other projects as needed to support Traditional Medicinal’s rapid growth and dynamic supply chain needs
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience/Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, or Contract Manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or related job experience
- Experience working in a CPG or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of supply chain KPIs
- Strong understanding of production standards, bill of materials, manufacturing, packaging and regulatory, etc.
- ERP/MRP experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is a plus
- Experience working in Kinaxis, or other advanced planning system such as Blue Yonder, Logility is a plus
- Solution-oriented problem solver and possesses a growth mindset.
- Ability to handle complex situations involving multiple SKU’s, channels, and distribution models
- Transparent, open/honest communicator with strong relationship building skills
- Ability to be a collaborative leader and team member in a dynamic high growth environment
- Ability to resolve, recommend, and strategically influence conflicting interests and priorities from different functions
- Experience working in a startup, high growth environment is a plus
- Potential visits to contract manufacturing partners (less than 10%)
- This position is based in Rohnert Park, CA. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 5:00 pm. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to occasionally work remotely. Expected in-offices days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Subject to change.
