The National Account Manager, eCommerce Channel leads and grows our eCommerce business across the U.S., including both direct and indirect retailers. This role is the primary lead for Amazon US while overseeing a Key Account Manager responsible for other eCommerce partners such as iHerb, Vitacost, World Pantry, and other platforms through direct and non-direct relationships.
This high-performing, data-driven individual thrives in a fast-paced, evolving eCommerce landscape and excels at turning insights into action. The ideal candidate is analytical, skilled in digital commerce strategy, and proficient in managing eCommerce operations. They are also strong communicators and storytellers, adept at relationship management, and serve as the internal champion for eCommerce to ensure cross-functional alignment.

The compensation range is $138,100 - $181,230
Compensation is determined based on non-discriminatory, business-related factors, including but not limited to training, experience, education and/or professional certifications, geographic location, and market data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Account Management & Sales Growth
- Lead and manage Amazon US strategy and execution, including agency and AVS relationships, to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Supervise the Key Account Manager, who manages performance across all other eCommerce platforms (e.g., iHerb, Vitacost, World Pantry, and additional marketplaces and partnerships).
- Develop and implement strategic plans for each eCommerce partner to drive sales, expand market share, and increase profitability.
- Build strong partnerships across all relevant retailer platforms, distributor partners, and third-party sellers.
- Develop and manage trade budgets, volume forecasts, promotional calendars, deductions, and payments across all eCommerce accounts.
- Leverage strong financial acumen to build and manage trade and merchandising plans that support annual revenue targets.
- Use data and analytics to track performance, identify opportunities, analyze competitive activity, and inform investment decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, brand, supply chain, and digital teams to align on priorities and execution.
- Work closely with the Omnichannel team to support digital shelf content readiness and retail media programming across key customers.
- Ensure regular collaboration with the Canadian Amazon team.
- Ensure accurate, optimized product listings across all eCommerce platforms, including SEO-rich PDPs, A+ content, videos, and reviews.
- Collaborate with omnichannel, content, and creative teams to deliver consistent, best-in-class digital experiences and brand storytelling.
- Maintain catalog integrity and digital shelf standards, ensuring timely updates and a seamless consumer experience.
- Support performance tracking and insights to guide content improvements and drive visibility, conversion, and engagement.
- Own eCommerce strategy for innovation launches across all platforms, including forecasting, merchandising support, and content readiness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agencies to ensure a seamless launch experience and strong in-market performance.
- Support packaging transitions and digital readiness across product changes.
- Serve as the internal champion for Amazon and eCommerce, building awareness and advocacy across the organization.
- Deliver clear, data-backed presentations on performance, opportunities, and resourcing needs.
- Educate cross-functional partners on eCommerce trends, platform nuances, and shopper behavior.
- Monitor and analyze weekly sales and inventory performance, proactively addressing issues and identifying growth opportunities.
- Ensure catalog accuracy, timely item setup, and vendor compliance across platforms.
- Stay current on industry trends and evolving best practices in eCommerce and digital retail.

- Key Account Manager – Ecommerce Channel
REQUIREMENTS
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), preferably in eCommerce account management, digital sales, or omnichannel retail.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-volume eCommerce accounts, including Amazon and other platforms (e.g., iHerb, Vitacost, World Pantry, etc.).
- Experience working with agency and/or broker partners to support digital commerce execution.
- Strong understanding of Amazon’s retail ecosystem and general best practices across eCommerce platforms.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking – Develops and executes effective sales strategies, using data and shopper insights to optimize brand performance across eCommerce platforms.
- Project & Stakeholder Management – Manages multiple priorities, aligning cross-functional partners and external agencies for seamless execution.
- Collaboration & Relationship Building – Builds strong working relationships across internal teams, brokers, and agencies to drive performance and resolve challenges.
- Communication & Influence – Communicates with clarity and confidence; crafts compelling sales stories and advocates for channel resources effectively.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability – Proactively identifies and addresses challenges; adjusts approach based on evolving retail and shopper trends.
- Digital Shelf & Retail Media Fluency – Understands eCommerce content requirements and collaborates on retail media execution across Amazon and other platforms.
- Leadership & Organizational Impact – Leads and mentors direct reports while influencing broader teams toward customer-focused growth and innovation.
- Execution & Operational Excellence – Maintains accurate catalogs, resolves operational issues efficiently, and supports flawless new product launches.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Retail Analytics, and related tools preferred.
- Familiarity with syndicated data (e.g., SPINS, IRI, Nielsen) and commerce analytics platforms (e.g., Stackline, Profitero, CommerceIQ) is a plus.
- Understanding of eCommerce KPIs and scorecards such as LTV, ROAS, CPM, CPC, conversion rate, and omni-channel performance metrics.
Travel Requirements:
- Mandatory travel 15 – 20% of the job
- This position is based in Rohnert Park, CA. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST).
- This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to occasionally work remotely.
- Expected in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Subject to change.
- Remote candidates will not be considered for this role.
